Psychometric Testing

Psychological testing monitors cognitive ability, progress, and alerts for special cognitive needs, superior abilities, and disabilities. Arise and Shine offers a specialized psychological testing service to ensure that all reasonable accommodations and options are correctly defined as students learn, adults rehabilitate, employees matriculate, and offenders answer to court systems.

We offer comprehensive evaluation of competency of clients ability to meet requirements placed upon them by educational programs, court ordered, non-medical, cognitive behavioral rehabilitation programs, apart from oversight of many drug/alcohol rehabilitative treatment program or facility.  We invite agencies to employ the psychological evaluation services of Arise and Shine as a part of their own intake procedures and other evaluative measures.

 Arise and Shine uses a variety of testing batteries to evaluate at least the following:

• evaluation of relative strengths and weaknesses in order to identify and describe patterns of performance across achievement, language, and cognitive domains that are key to diagnosing learning problems and developing targeted interventions for individual needs.

• intellectual assessment to diagnose specific disorders, such as intellectual disabilities or learning disabilities, and as a way to determine educational placement.

Evaluation is successive in intervals as prescribed in individual client treatment plans – established upon initial visit with Arise and Shine Psychometrist. Test results will remain a part of client file and will follow client through their enrollment in services provided by Arise and Shine.
